1º Pick-up at the tourism office/hotel
2º Pineapple – Meet the production and tasting of the pineapple liquer.
3º Visit a local production of several Azorean jams and the famous local pepper sauce.
4º See the special cooking process of the Furnas stew and the fumaroles;
5º Lunch (complete service included) in Furnas town (oportunity to taste the local products: butter/ bread/ bolo lêvedo (mild sweetened flat bread)/Furnas stew/ pineapple/ wine/ among others).
If you know Furnas and the local special stew, we have the lunch at Povoação village, with a similar complete service, but with the possibility to taste the fresh fish from a local fishing port and the local meat. At Povoação you will also be able to taste the Povoação’s special small cake named Fofa;
6º Stop at Furnas settlement - tasting of the local products: sweetcorn (cooked in a specific fumarole, during the summer)/ several liqueurs/ biscuits/ ironish and gas water springs;
7º Gorreana tea factory/ Porto Formoso tea factory – Tasting the local black and green tea;
8º FUNtastic Azorean afternoon snack time, on the beautiful spot of “Ribeira dos Caldeirões” from Nordeste.

At FUNtastic Azores we believe that the region should present to the visitor the best it produces in a convenient and easy way. It was in this sense that we organized a thematic tour, selecting some of the most renowned places, which produces part of the Azorean essence. Thus, we offer the opportunity to the tourist to know our local gastronomic production and, at the same time, making on-site tastings in the most pleasurable way. We are also pleased to introduce a product on our service resulting from our philosophy and willingness. It is about a special traditionally decorated basket, containing a selection of Azorean products, just for you. All participating customers from this tour will have access to our FUNtastic basket. The purpose of this basket of Azorean products of excellence is to enjoy it at the end of the activity as an afternoon snack, but also as a special touch.
The Azorean Tasting tour is a full-day excursion and includes:

1º Pick-up no posto de turismo / hotel
2º Ananás - Conheça a produção e degustação do licor do anaás dos Açores.
3º Visita a uma produção local de várias compotas regionais e do típico molho de pimenta regional.
4º Observe o processo de cozimento especial do cozido das Furnas e as fumarolas;
5º Almoço (serviço completo incluído) na freguesia das Furnas (saboreie os produtos locais como: manteiga / pão / bolo lêvedo / cozido das Furnas / ananás dos Açores / vinho / entre outros).
Se já conhece as Furnas e o cozido especial local, teremos o almoço na vila da Povoação, com um serviço completo semelhante, mas com a possibilidade de saborear o peixe fresco de um porto de pesca próximo e a carne regional. Na Povoação também poderá provar uma especialidade da Povoação, como sobremesa, a "fofa";
6º Paragem na freguesia das Furnas - degustação dos produtos locais: milho doce (cozido numa fumarola específica, durante o verão) / vários licores / Biscoitos / águas de nascentes férreas e com gás;
7º Fábrica de chá Gorreana / fábrica de chá Porto Formoso - Provas do chá preto e verde Açorianos;
8º Hora do lanche FUNtastic à regional, na "Ribeira dos Caldeirões" de Nordeste.
